Winter Solstice - The Pause that Refreshes

The Wheel of the Year hairpins into the new cycle with the Winter Solstice on December 21st at 10:35 am (Pacific). It is the northern hemisphere’s longest day and darkest night. Let's review the simple astronomy at play here for a quick second: The season shifts because of the Earth’s changing axial relationship to the Sun. Now, the Earth’s equator reaches her maximum tilt away from the Sun – pausing – before returning toward the Sun’s recharging warmth and light.

Astrologically now: There is also a tremendous dynamic tension in the current cosmic geometry with a fixed sign
Grand Cross between Jupiter opposite Mars both squaring Saturn which opposes Neptune. Sounds heavy, and is a little sticky.
A terrestrial hologram of this stuck between a rock and a hard place dynamic is the complex scenario of New York transit strike. If you are experiencing some holiday stress, be consoled that you are most in tune with the current rhythms of the cosmic drumbeat. Your chart may be activated by this fixed pattern. And w
ith Venus turning retrograde (once every 1 1/2 yrs.), on Christmas eve, expect some scrooging to come scrounging.

Winter Solstice is a time to practice the lesson of Sagitarrius; to pull the bow string back to it’s maximum point – sighting the bullseye before releasing your flaming arrow. It is the point between inhale and exhale. This breathless moment of stillpoint on the cusp between dark and light is an opportunity to distill the essence of any disonant energies and components we wish to release, and embrace those aspects, refreshed and renewed for the new cycle. This is a golden opportunity for us to become aware and explore the deep messages lingering amidst the darkness, awakening with new direction, intention and foresight. The greatest gift we can give and receive is to simply breathe deeply and rhythmically the essence of our inner light on this holyday. It's the pause that refreshes.
aloha, KK!

Gentle One's Start Your Engines - 2006

Gentlemen, gentlewomen, gentle Ones ……start your engines. The yellow caution flag flaps its final furl, and it’s now time to roar past go and collect.

The double retrograde of Mercury (direct 12/3) and Mars (12/9) is over. As the days shrink toward their extreme at the Winter Solstice on 12/21, the squeaky wheels of change now spin more freely toward the shifts of the new cycle.
The game is about to be changed, ladies and gentleman. Larger waves are cresting over the horizon, as the skills you have been honing will now spring into play. A fixed T-square involving Mars in Taurus opposing Jupiter in Scorpio, squaring Saturn in Leo empowers extreme plans though tempered by Saturnian reality checks. Brightening the picture is a trine between Jupiter in Scorpio and Uranus in Pisces, signaling that even in the most intense situations, our humor, creativity and intuition attunes to the bigger and brighter picture where dwells the solution. 2005 closes on a much more positive note than it began (Tsunami, etc.) as the New Year rocks in a bolder and brighter song. May you dance and sing through the changes as the heaven’s rearrange. Much aloha, KK!

Astrologer Sues Nasa Claiming Deformed Horoscope

Astrologer Sues NASA Over Comet Probe

CNN Russian astrologer Marina Bai seeks $300 million in damages. She said the NASA mission would "deform her horoscope." Watch Broadband Video: Strange Space Case Lawsuit
MOSCOW (July 5) - NASA's mission that sent a space probe smashing into a comet raised more than cosmic dust - it also brought a lawsuit from a Russian astrologer.
Marina Bai has sued the U.S. space agency, claiming the Deep Impact probe that punched a crater into the comet Tempel 1 late Sunday "ruins the natural balance of forces in the universe," the newspaper Izvestia reported Tuesday. A Moscow court has postponed hearings on the case until late July, the paper said.
Scientists say the crash did not significantly alter the comet's orbit around the sun and said the experiment does not pose any danger to Earth.
The probe's comet crash sent up a cloud of debris that scientists hope to examine to learn how the solar system was formed.
Bai is seeking damages totaling $300 million - the approximate equivalent of the mission's cost - for her "moral sufferings," Izvestia said, citing her lawyer Alexander Molokhov. She earlier told the paper that the experiment would "deform her horoscope."
NASA representatives in Russia could not be reached for comment on the case.

Spunky Eclipse

The Spring cycle fully ignites after the Moon crosses the Sun (and Venus) on Friday April 8 at 1:32 pm Pacific. The Moon -- representing our emotions and the past -- covers the Sun -- the life force, signaling shift and change ahead. This event is opposite Jupiter in Libra, forming a T-square with Saturn in Cancer--while sextile Mars and Neptune in Aquarius and trine Pluto in Sag... Mercury is still retrograde, slowing into its station on the 12th . Quite the dynamic brew. This mix signals a major shift with a lot of letting go and much forward movement. Meditate, visualize, act it out over the spring.

Mass Meditation on Death while Pluto is stationary

Pluto's 2-week stationary period has been synchronous with a mass obsession on death and dying, one of the tiny giant's specialties. I seem to be witnessing a particularly severe insanity here. For some perspective, let us consider that along with Mrs. Shaivo, 25000 people starved to death yesterday. When I leave, I would love to go silently and rest in sweet heavenly peace. I am confident reincarnation will be one of my most psychedelic experiences. We all pass, and are likely our closest to God's love when we return to source.

In Alignment there is Fullfillment....

With the Sun, Mercury and Venus conjunct in Aries, the energy of Spring launches. In alignment there is fullfillment, and the time has come to manifest the vision of Spring. Cavaet: With Mercury retrograde, the caution light is blinking. When the Moon enters Sag on Tuesday (3:58 PM Pacific), the energy ramps up and Spring really begins to sing its sweet song.

Full Moon Names

Full Moon names date back to Native Americans, of what is now the northern and eastern United States. The tribes kept track of the seasons by giving distinctive names to each recurring full Moon. Their names were applied to the entire month in which each occurred. There was some variation in the Moon names, but in general, the same ones were current throughout the Algonquin tribes from New England to Lake Superior. European settlers followed that custom and created some of their own names. Since the lunar month is only 29 days long on the average, the full Moon dates shift from year to year. Here is the Farmers Almanac's list of the full Moon names.
• Full Wolf Moon - January Amid the cold and deep snows of midwinter, the wolf packs howled hungrily outside Indian villages. Thus, the name for January's full Moon. Sometimes it was also referred to as the Old Moon, or the Moon After Yule. Some called it the Full Snow Moon, but most tribes applied that name to the next Moon.• Full Snow Moon - February Since the heaviest snow usually falls during this month, native tribes of the north and east most often called February's full Moon the Full Snow Moon. Some tribes also referred to this Moon as the Full Hunger Moon, since harsh weather conditions in their areas made hunting very difficult. • Full Worm - March Moon As the temperature begins to warm and the ground begins to thaw, earthworm casts appear, heralding the return of the robins. The more northern tribes knew this Moon as the Full Crow Moon, when the cawing of crows signaled the end of winter; or the Full Crust Moon, because the snow cover becomes crusted from thawing by day and freezing at night. The Full Sap Moon, marking the time of tapping maple trees, is another variation. To the settlers, it was also known as the Lenten Moon, and was considered to be the last full Moon of winter.• Full Pink Moon - April This name came from the herb moss pink, or wild ground phlox, which is one of the earliest widespread flowers of the spring. Other names for this month's celestial body include the Full Sprouting Grass Moon, the Egg Moon, and among coastal tribes the Full Fish Moon, because this was the time that the shad swam upstream to spawn.• Full Flower Moon - May In most areas, flowers are abundant everywhere during this time. Thus, the name of this Moon. Other names include the Full Corn Planting Moon, or the Milk Moon.• Full Strawberry Moon - June This name was universal to every Algonquin tribe. However, in Europe they called it the Rose Moon. Also because the relatively short season for harvesting strawberries comes each year during the month of June . . . so the full Moon that occurs during that month was christened for the strawberry! • The Full Buck Moon - July July is normally the month when the new antlers of buck deer push out of their foreheads in coatings of velvety fur. It was also often called the Full Thunder Moon, for the reason that thunderstorms are most frequent during this time. Another name for this month's Moon was the Full Hay Moon.
• Full Sturgeon Moon - July The fishing tribes are given credit for the naming of this Moon, since sturgeon, a large fish of the Great Lakes and other major bodies of water, were most readily caught during this month. A few tribes knew it as the Full Red Moon because, as the Moon rises, it appears reddish through any sultry haze. It was also called the Green Corn Moon or Grain Moon.• Full Fruit or Barley Moon - August The names Fruit and Barley were reserved only for those years when the Harvest Moon is very late in September.• Full Harvest Moon - September This is the full Moon that occurs closest to the autumn equinox. In two years out of three, the Harvest Moon comes in September, but in some years it occurs in October. At the peak of harvest, farmers can work late into the night by the light of this Moon. Usually the full Moon rises an average of 50 minutes later each night, but for the few nights around the Harvest Moon, the Moon seems to rise at nearly the same time each night: just 25 to 30 minutes later across the U.S., and only 10 to 20 minutes later for much of Canada and Europe. Corn, pumpkins, squash, beans, and wild rice the chief Indian staples are now ready for gathering.• Full Hunter's Moon - October With the leaves falling and the deer fattened, it is time to hunt. Since the fields have been reaped, hunters can easily see fox and the animals which have come out to glean.• Full Beaver Moon - November This was the time to set beaver traps before the swamps froze, to ensure a supply of warm winter furs. Another interpretation suggests that the name Full Beaver Moon comes from the fact that the beavers are now actively preparing for winter. It is sometimes also referred to as the Frosty Moon.• The Full Cold Moon; or the Full Long Nights Moon - December During this month the winter cold fastens its grip, and nights are at their longest and darkest. It is also sometimes called the Moon before Yule. The term Long Night Moon is a doubly appropriate name because the midwinter night is indeed long, and because the Moon is above the horizon for a long time. The midwinter full Moon has a high trajectory across the sky because it is opposite a low Sun.

Full Moon -- Full Venus

Full Moon (visual) tonight -- official full Moon is at 12:58 tomorrow Pacific, Good Friday, in Libra. Full Moon is always opposite the Sun. The Moon will also be opposite Venus which is conjunct the Aries Sun......I call that a "Full Venus." Aphrodite beckons, "must be the season of the witch".......

Saturn turns Direct: Reality Check

Saturn just turned direct and is making a station (for about a week). During this period, the essence of Saturn is amplified: Reality checks, karma, responsibility.

The Celestial Shuffle of Spring

The celestial cards are being shuffled and you are being dealt a new hand. With Mercury now retrograde, play your cards carefully. Saturn turns direct tonight at 6:54 PM PST, a good time to re-vision your longer range plans. Mars has moved into Uranus-ruled Aquarius, stirring the cauldron of change and creation. Venus will move into Aries on Tuesday surging the urge to merge. The Full Libra Moon on Good Friday will be most intense as Pluto is stationary.

Santa Barbara Tribute to the Casualties of Iraq

Arlington West - Santa Barbara, CA. A tribute to the 1521 US soldiers who have died, 11,344 wounded, the 100,000 Iraqi people....at a cost of $1 billion per week...on the second anniversary of the US invasion.

It's Spring -- Happy New Year!

The Sun bursts into Aries today, as all nature rejoices in brilliant sunshine. The vernal Equinox is a time of equal day and night -- and marks the beginning of the outward expression of life itself. The long winter season is finally over. A warm Leo Moon greets the dawn of this day, stoking the cardinal fires of the Aries Sun. A new dawn breaks in our hearts and souls. This is a time of new beginnings, of fresh starts. May love and light fill our lives and change our world!

Mercury Retrograde--Saturn Direct

Mercury in Aries is slowing into a retrograde this Saturday March 19th at 4:14 PM Pacific until April 12th at 12:45 AM Pacific. Mercury goes retrograde about 3 times a year for 3 weeks and is retrograde almost 20% of the time. This little wrinkle in the space-time continuum is a period when there are often delays and revisions, and it is a good idea to be more vigilant and diligent in your communications. Life goes on and does move forward. The analogy of the Indianapolis 500 proceding under the yellow caution flag may be helpful. This is a signal to ease into Spring, rather than sprint out of the blocks. Mercury will retrace the entire first half of Aries, turn direct on April 12th, reach the degree where it began the retrograde on May 1st and enter Taurus on May 12th. Saturn turns direct on Monday, March 21st and will transit through the last decanate of Cancer rapidly until it enters Leo on July 16th. Saturn is retrograde over 35% of the time. This stationary period at the beginning of Spring may be synchronous with some new committments and directions in your life.

For the Lust of the Game

I grew up watching Willie Mays and Mickey Mantle, Henry Aaron and Sandy Koufax. Ballplayers who played for the love of the game. Their drug of choice was adrenalin....ok, maybe a little tobacco and alcohol. It was really difficult for me to watch Mark McGwire, Rafael Palmeiro, Curt Shilling, and Sammy Sosa with poop all over their faces -- lying like little kids to their mama about their involvement with or knowledge of steroid use. Disgusting! I imagine the game today is merely symptomatic of the times in which we live...........the indescriminate scramble for money driven by greed, consumed in the consuming, win at all costs mentality. It looked to me like Jose Conseco was the only one telling it like it was. Mark McGwire just went from a likely Hall of Famer to a Hall of Shame shoe-in in my eyes with his livid BS. Pure unadulterated garbage. McGwire was born on October 1st of 1963 at 7:30 in the morning in Pomona, a suburb of LA with the worst air pollution in the country. So maybe that's it, that's why his body suddenly exploded into a characature.....it was the chloroflorocarbons of all the gas-guzzler's latently kicking in! Seriously. McGwire's a Double Libra with a Pisces Moon, and Venus directly opposite Jupiter in Aries right on his cardinal horizon line. Today anyway, he put on a power-hitting exhibition of the lower nature of that combination of signs. Most of the congressmen and women engaged in idol-worship and softballed the superstars. One of them even remarked to Curt Shilling...."you sound just like a politician," and it seemed like the room just wreaked of it from all corners. Check out the before and after pictures below of Jason Giambi. I guess "milk does a body good," eh? Mercury slowing down getting ready for a long retrograde on Saturday. More on that before Saturday.

Multidimensial Musings on Scary Power Stuggles

Pebble of a planet Pluto is the most powerful force in astrology as it is the boundary between our solar system and everything else. It is the root chakra, rules the unconscious. This week began with the Sun (identity) squaring Pluto, and ends on Friday with Venus (values) moving out of its trine with Saturn and into a square with Pluto. Pluto is power and squares are struggles, so there may be some potent issues in personal relationships which need attention. These represent short term issues which we need to resolve by the Spring Equinox. The Pluto situation brings up some larger issues, namely the global economy and the power source of civilization -- oil. This Earthblood which drives machines, greed and politics is like the proverbial "ring" of Bilbo and Frodo fame. We see oil around $56 a barrel, and gasoline today setting record highs in the US. Reality check: Oil was $30 a barrel at the beginning of last year. Tell me, what do you think the effect is of $25 a barrel of oil inflation? (See: http://futures.tradingcharts.com/chart/CO/M) Every inch that machinery moves-- planes, trains, automobiles; everything that is made or wrapped in plastic -- is inextricably tied to oil. The government cleverly took oil out of its inflation figures some years ago, so interest rates are not reflecting this hyper-inflationary information. Yet. The United States trade deficit -- the broadest measure of international trade -- soared to an all-time high of $665.9 billion in 2004 -- showing in stark terms how rapidly this country is becoming indebted to the rest of the world. Remember Ross Perot in 1992, and his charts about the National Debt of $5 trillion? Well, its now $7.5 trillion and increasing by $1/2 trillion annually. And in this country, consumers are 85% in debt! Pluto also rules debt and will be turning retrograde on 3/26. I wonder what reversals will synchronize. I know that bubbles are always their biggest right before they burst. Now, consider the intense setup of the power struggle: the world's largest oil reserves are held by Islamic countries, while the world's largest oil consumers are mostly Christian nations, locked in a struggle for "the ring." Pretty wild food for your thoughts, eh?

Springtime Initiation

It's a week before Spring and we feel the stars stirring in our soul jockeying for position. The planets are forming some tricky geometries as the new cycle dawns. The Good News -- Jupiter and Neptune are locked in a tight trine as is Venus and Saturn -- fueling trust in our inner guidance and the power of love in the universe that all will be well. Now, the tricky part starts today with the Sun squaring Pluto, triggering feelings of insecurity -- like the bottom is dropping out. It only feels that way. Mercury turns retrograde on Saturday the 19th, Saturn direct on the 21st, and Pluto retrograde on the 26th. I'll be blogging more about how to navigate this challenging initiation into Spring. The equinox is a stellar time to check your personal stars, get a forecast (check out those email prices!).

Signals from Mt. Saint Helens

Mt. St. Helen's mini-eruption at Tuesday's Mars-Saturn opposition is symbolic of Springtime's thrust. As the new moon crossed the Pisces Sun last night, it is now in its power cycle . Release the frustrations of winter, spring forth with fresh resolve. The Moon will join Mercury in Aries tonight (6:03 Pacific), and by the full Moon, we will be reborn into spring. In the twelve days until the equinox, finish old business, prepare your garden to seed the new spring cycle. In future blogs I will outline the massive shifts ahead.

Perhaps a little PNMS?

As the Old Moon slithers through Pisces today approaching the early morning's New Moon (1:12 am Pacific), we find we are a little spreadeagled between finishing things up and moving them forward. So we may experience a little PNMS -- Pre New Moon Syndrome, an anxiety-producing condition where we feel la bit like wet tissue-paper at times. Onward, inward, and upward my friends, keep the swim through Pisces moving toward the magnificent rebirth of Spring.

The Eyes of the Moon

I have often told students that the best way to learn astrology is to follow the Moon through the 12 signs, as it spends 2 1/2 days in each sign, completing the zodiacal journey in a month, thus reflecting the essence of all 360 degrees each and every cycle. Today, the Moon is in the sign of the Age or dispensation we have recently entered -- Aquarius -- and will move into Pisces this afternoon at 4:32 (Pacific). So today, the Moon holds a hologram of the larger precessional time frame planet Earth is in: the cusp of the Piscean/Aquarian age. Aquarius is ruled by revolutionary Uranus, Pisces by dreamy Neptune. And since there is a "mutual reception" of Uranus and Neptune -- namely Neptune is in Aquarius, and Uranus in Pisces -- there is a fascinating weaving of ancient wisdom reflected in the eyes of the Moon, the windows of her soul and our subconscious mind. Food for your thoughts.

Mars opposes Saturn

My advice for today: Unwind, stretch your body, exercise, loosen up your mind, do your breathing exercises, meditate, drink some chamomile tea, get a message, listen to Enya, Bob Marley, Vivaldi -- whatever relaxes you. Rent Robin Williams "Live on Broadway" or some other form of laughter-inducing hilarity. The Universe is serving up a little Cosmic Crunch for breakfast tomorrow (8:15 am) in the name of Mars (Capricorn) opposite Saturn (Cancer) -- unlimited energy meets irresistible force. A wringing out of the karmic towel. Drive carefully. Jupiter retrograde in Libra t-squares this confrontation, amplifying the energy. What we want to do to is not force the issue. Grease the squeaky wheel, gracefully tai-chi tense situations, try not to take the unfolding drama too seriously. Like gas, this too shall pass.

Martha, My Dear!

She shed 20 pounds in her five month stay at the country club. Her net worth reportedly increased by $30 million a month, with MSO stock tripling from trial through incarceration. She is released to "house arrest" at her 16-acre mega-estate, a reborn superstar ready to nova again. Martha Stewart, born August 3, 1941, 1:33pm in Jersey City Jersey, is a Leo with Scorpio rising and a Sag moon, and an elevated Venus in perfectionist Virgo in her 10th house of career. This year, transiting Uranus in Pisces is opposed her Venus, her progressed Venus is trine her Mercury, and transiting Pluto is conjunct her Jupiter-ruled Moon. I expect Martha to make a magnificent transformation, reinventing herself to ever grander levels of her inner-childhood dreams.

Presto Chango

Presto chango. The Grand Puppeteer is waving her magic wand and sprinkling excitement dust in the air. Venus conjuncts Uranus charging the ethers with fresh NOW juice, and a Moon - Pluto conjunction commands passionate thirst. Drink deeply of the Universe's bubbly concoction -- a genuine pan-galactic gargle blaster.

Some Stars of Oscars' Stars

It's Oscar night and the Moon is in Libra...........how perfect. Pomp and circumstance, glitz and glitter, dahling. My predictions: not. I think Fahrenheit 911 was the best picture. I've never seen another film where the entire audience stands vigorously in long ovations at the end, have you? What will win? Aviator for best picture, Foxx for actor, Swank for actress. Now, wait a minute. Instead, of predictions, here's a few stars of the stars. Clint Eastwood was born May 31, 1930, Gemini, Scorpio Rising, Leo Moon, Mars in Aries, Jupiter in Libra. Martin Scorsese, born November 17, 1942 is a Capricorn, Leo Rising, Pisces Moon, with his Sun, Mercury, Venus, and Mars all in a stellium in Scorpio. No wonder! Leonardo DiCaprio, born 11/11/1974 is all Scorpio and Libra, with Sun Venus and Mars in Scorpio, and Pluto, Moon, Uranus, Mercury and Ascendant in Libra (w/Uranus and Mercury conjunct at the 29th or anarectic degree!). Jamie Foxx, born December 13, 1967 is a Sag, with a Taurus Moon opposite his Venus in Scorpio. And Hilary Swank, born July 30, 1974 is a Leo with a Sag Moon, with Venus, Saturn, and Mercury conjunct in Cancer. Enjoy!

Give Peace a Chance for Romance

Venus swims into Pisces today at 7:07 pm Pacific time. This is a much softer, sweeter and compassionate placement for the goddess of love than mental Aquarius. Four big fish (Sun, Mercury, Venus, Uranus) are surfing the Piscean waters. Lots of subconscious energy completing karma and cycles in the last sign -- dreaming about Spring's rebirth.
There are hopeful overtures on the international scene with talks of peace and a cease fire between the Palestinians and Israelis. With a Jupiter trine Neptune aspect making the second of its three passages on March 14, the ethers are mellowed. Jupiter, benefic star of hope and optimism, is slowly moving retrograde in Libra, sign of mediation and peace . Neptune is the harmonizing influence, and their trine in air signs is positive for communication, alignment, and even agreement between former enemies. On a more personal level, these are harmonious times in relationships, even a chance for romance.

Let Go(d)

The Sun and Uranus conjunct today in Pisces.......liberating energies fill the ethers with the potentiality of empowering us to let go of old thought-forms and perspectives which color our reality. This frees us to imagineer fresh ways and modes of perception, and courses of action. The past only serves the purpose of learning from and doing better than -- a springboard for revision. It does have its karmic gravity though, luring us back into its patterns which may or may not have served us. We need to place the past into the current cauldron of creation - declaring it obsolete - so the now may be invented. A new cycle begins here today, with our inner plane taking off into the infinitely imaginative skies of our dreams. Breathe deeply, release, visualize, take off!

Wild Moon

The Piscean ethers are fully charged as the Virgo Moon becomes full at 8:54 pm. As most of you are aware, when the Moon is full it is opposite the Sun, and oppositions are inten-City. Further juicing the mix is Uranus -- which is a degree away from the Sun and therefore also opposite the Moon at 10:53 this evening(pst). Drive carefully. A massive amount of creative and inventive energy fills the ethers. Do your breathing exercises if things get off center. A wonderful walk on the wild side is recommended toward the evening. Expect nothing, but perhaps the unexpected.

Magnetar Starburst --Tsunami Connection?

Planet Earth was bombarded by a guargantuan explosion halfway across the galaxy -- first detected on December 27. The cause; The explosion of a Magnetar -- a fast spinning neutron star with an extremely powerful magnetic field. The energy burst, packing more energy than the sun emits every 150,000 years, was not visible to humans, and the gamma rays were blocked by the Earth's atmosphere as they rushed by. Scientists said some operators of low-frequency transmitters were able to detect it. The burst lasted a tenth of second and came from a neutron star about 50,000 light years away from Earth in the constellation Sagittarius. Now, this event was in synchronicity to the most massive Earth changes we have seen in years: the Southeast Asian Earthquakes and Tsunamis, the torrential California rains, Ireland's 130 mph winds, etc. etc. Is there a connection? What do you think?

Great Vibes from Saint Valentine's Angel

As the calendar swings toward February 14th and Saint Valentine's day, we find a luscious Venus/Neptune conjunction right in the middle -- or "gate of power" of Aquarius. Neptune is the higher octave of Venus, and their conjunction marks the alignment of personal and divine love. To amplify this signature, they are applying toward a trine with prosperous Jupiter in Libra. Love and money both shine during this time. Good feelings abound and there is a general feeling of goodwill. Wishing you peace joy and much aloha!

Friday, February 11, 2005

In response to your question.......I am a truth seeker, who wishes he knew the acid-truth of the matter. The Bush "foreign policy" seems to be about the expansion of the military-industrial complex, and control of middle-eastern oil. It's means are Octopussian: spread the hynotic ink of deception, control media with propoganda, carry forth the agenda. Yesterday's covered-up revelation that the FAA/US had disregarded 52 pre-911 reports that Al-Qaida would hijack planes to use as weapons, is a case for this point. Now that they have established a stronghold in the middle of the Middle East -- with bases, manpower, and supplies strategically located -- it will be a much simpler matter to overtake Iran and Syria. In terms of "martial arts," the insurgents have done remarkeable aikido with US/Iranian armaments, i.e. the thousands of pounds of ammo dumps which were left unlocked/unguarded/looted/ utlilzed. David and Goliath archetype revisited. Thousands of years of karmic cycles are unfolding in this area. Humankind is learning the very hard way that violence is not a means of conflict resolution...that greed and power are a self-serving a soul-cancer whose cure is only spiritual. There is really no us and them. This will of course will take quite some time in human terms, but it is humankind's evolutionary destiny. As the French philosopher Andre Malraux once said, "the third millennium will be spiritual, or it will not be."

Welcome to the Lucky Star"blog". Its purpose is to post thoughts that are a layer or so deeper than propoganda, to address topics of interest and give a little astrological backdrop to current flashpoints. You're going to see lots of surprises. It will be fascinating to see where it will go, so here goes. Feel free to post "intelligent" feedback. I'd love for this to turn into a forum for consciousness-raising thought. I will also use the blog to share all kinds of matters of interest. So check in frequently and participate. Much aloha, KK!
